Built in 2015, Oak Ridge Assisted Living is bright and friendly with all the modern amenities you’d come to expect. The living is easy with its one-level design, wide hallways and well-appointed apartments.

Residents can socialize in the comfy community room with fireplace, which offers a Bistro area for 24/7 snacks and beverages. From there, open one of two sets of French doors to the private courtyard and its beautifully cared-for grounds by staff and green-thumb residents. The space offers numerous places to relax – under the pergola or one of the many umbrella-topped seating areas. Follow another set of French doors to the activity room for a game of cards or to do a craft. Spacious hallways lead to private apartments, all offering a wealth of amenities.

Social Life

Residents’ interests drive our busy activities calendar. Our dedicated activity director goes above and beyond to provide exceptional activities and experiences for residents. This includes programs by schoolchildren and church groups to preserve meaningful connections with the Richmond community.

Throughout the weekday, at least three group activities are offered daily to residents – from live music to outings to nearby restaurants or shops. Examples of activities include:

Games, like Bingo or Kings in the Corner
Gardening
Exercise and fitness classes
Monthly birthday party with live music
Chapel service and Bible study

Meal Service

From-scratch meals are prepared three times a day in a casual restaurant-style setting. Daily specials are offered, as well as always-available items, like sandwiches, hamburgers and soup. Beverages and snacks are available 24 hours a day.
