Resident Profile: Harold

At Mizzou home games, you’ll likely find Harold cheering on the Tigers. He may be one of team’s most loyal fans – a season ticket holder since 1959! He has carried the family tradition from his father-in-law to his children, grandchildren and now great-granddaughter. At Oak Ridge, you enjoy your passions and independence.

Resident Profile: Louie

Louie left high school early to join the Marines during World War II. When he returned 18 months later, his high school awarded him a diploma. A fourth-generation nurseryman, he and wife, Emily, have been a team for 68 years. To honor veterans, Louie built a garden in the courtyard at Oak Ridge. Garden stones depicting each branch of service border a variety of flowers he grows and nurtures.
